Hiatus and recharging for the future

Hi all,

Just a short update today, and there’s no great way to say this, but I’m sadly going to be taking a hiatus from writing this newsletter for a while. Unfortunately, last Friday I had a seizure and the cause has since been found to be a brain tumour.

I’ve been getting the best care since and I’m due to have surgery to remove the enemy on 23 April – which, if it’s anything to go by, marks the day when Saint George slayed a dragon!

After this date, I’ll have various tests to determine if I need any further treatments and I plan to be recharging away from my desk. All being well, come May, I’ll have a positive update and can start moving back into the driving seat.

I really appreciate all the warm messages I’ve received thus far, and thank you in advance for any others that are shared – I hope to be writing for you all for some years to come still!

In lighter news… my youngest brother has today gifted me a Lego Lotus Evija – do ignore the age range haha – so please take solace that, even at this time, I’m staying fully plugged into the world of EVs where I can 😉
