It seems a tad unfair to blame customers of a company because of something a different customer did over half a century ago.

What if Hitler used a BIC biro, or Persil washing powder? Should we all be locked up.

The point I'm making is, biros and Persil haven't only ever been reserved for the elite. Whereas Honqi was founded to only serve senior members of the Chinese govt. It's a brand that stands for state authority and dominance.

We are still talking about something that happened a very long time ago. Most of the staff working there now weren't even born.
