As an EV newbie we are struggling to work out our local (Islington) public realm EV-CP infrastructure. Are we right in understanding that the Council can get grants to instal street lamp charge points ... and then take a cut of the revenue from user chargers ? The Liverpool Road farce sounds typical of Islington Council. They seem happy to support projects when someone else is paying or doing the work - so the installation of the Liverpool Road cycle lane and inaccessibility of the CPs will probably have little impact on the Council's revenue. So what do they care ?
